THE PURPOSE OF THIS FINANCIAL SERVICES GUIDE (FSG)

SG Hiscock & Company Limited (ABN 51 097 263 628: AFSL 240679)  has appointed ICE Investors Pty Ltd as a Corporate Authorised Representative under its Australian Financial Services License. Distribution of this FSG has been has authorised by SGH.  The contact detail for SGH is Level 28, 367 Collins Street, Melbourne Vic 3000.

This FSG is provided to outline the financial services SG Hiscock & Company Limited (SGH) has authorised ICE Investors Pty Ltd (ICE Investors) to provide.

This FSG also describes how ICE Investors is remunerated, any potential conflicts of interest we may have and how you can make a complaint about the services you have received from ICE Investors as SGH’s representative.

ICE Investors and its representatives have been authorised to provide general advice to retail persons.  It does not act for you. Such advice is made without taking into account the objectives, financial situation or needs of such persons. Accordingly, you will need to consider the appropriateness of the advice, in light of your own objectives, financial situation or needs before acting on the general advice provided.

General advice provided may refer to securities or managed investments. You should make your own enquiries in relation to securities mentioned and in the case of managed investments, you should obtain a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and Target Market Determination (TMD) relating to that product and consider the PDS and TMD before making any decision about whether to acquire the product.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GENERAL ADVICE ICE INVESTORS GIVES?

SGH is responsible for the general advice that ICE Investors and its representatives may provide to you.

Services that ICE Investors is authorised to give

SGH has authorised ICE Investors to provide general financial product advice in relation to:

  • Derivatives
  • managed investment schemes, excluding Investor Directed Portfolio Services
  • Securities

REMUNERATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

If you invest in a financial product where ICE Investors has been appointed the investment manager, we will receive remuneration under the relevant investment management agreement. This remuneration may include management fees and performance fees applicable to the product. The remuneration we will receive will be set out in the Product Disclosure Statement for that financial product.

Staff are remunerated through salary and bonuses. Staff may also be shareholders in ICE Investors and may receive dividends.

PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to maintaining the privacy of information that you may provide to us.  How we do this is detailed in the Privacy Policy that you can request by telephoning SGH’s office on 03 9612 4600 or obtaining it from our website.

Should you visit the ICE Investors website, our internet server may automatically record details about any computer used to access the website (such as the IP address, domain name and browser type), the date and time of access, and details of the information downloaded. This information may be used for internal statistical purposes and to improve this website.
